The party for the triumph of Distria Krasniqi, KOK, hosts medals from other athletes

The Kosovo Olympic Committee (KOK) in co-operation with the Pristina municipality's Department of Sports and Culture have organised parties at “Zahir Pajaziti” in Pristina in honour of Distria Krasniqi's gold medal victory at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

Musa Selimi, a member of the Kosovo Olympic Committee Board, said that after Majlinda Kelmendi, other Kosovo athletes are already shining.

He said that more medals await from Tokyo 2020 as he congratulated all Albanians for the triumph of Distria Krasniqi.

After Tyndale is shining the other stars. It's shining a star that gave the world a true champion today. We also await Majlinda, Nora, Loriana, Achilles, Egzon Shala, Musa Hajdari, Donjata Sadik, and hope to return with a higher number of medals in a few days. Olympic values are transforming into Kosovo, our brilliant youth is demonstrating that our state, our beloved Kosovo has stars, there are people with great hearts who are representing us worthy. Congratulations Pristina, congratulations on Kosovo. Thank you for this mass participation. Congratulations to all Albanians wherever they are”, he said.

Even Fitim Rexhaj from the Culture Department Directorate from the Pristina municipality said they expect similar results from other athletes like Distria Krasniqi. He also congratulated all Albanians on this historic victory.

We expect good results from other athletes as well, where Pristina is represented by three athletes. While we support all Kosovar athletes indiscriminately and hope that tomorrow even Majlinda will bring a similar outcome and will cheer us up and make us proud. And we hope that other athletes will enjoy us as well. Happy for all”, he said to kp.

On this evening where the turnout was high was demonstrated spots from the Distria Krasniqi competitions in Tokyo 2020, while numerous fireworks were thrown.

Then the evening went on with the interpretation of songs by some popular musical bands.
