Opposition urges Prime Minister Kurti to ask Beden for a special emissar for dialogue

While necessary, they are seeing Prime Minister Albin Kurti ask US President Joe Biden for a special emissary for the Kosovo-Serbian dialogue.

PDK MP Ariana Musliu-Shoshi says they are in informative darkness as regards Kurt's transparency in dialogue.

She adds that Prime Minister Kurti is not defending any new value, which other prime ministers have not done.

“We as opposition deputy are in the dark information regarding Kurt's approach to dialogue, we don't have any reporting of it before I go to Brussels, we know that even Bislimi has had meetings, and we as a commission have no information and we don't know what the principles are and have turned into an internal political battle rather than a point when we all are together, Kurti is not defending any new value which the previous prime ministers have all been a stand for sovereignty as well as for Kosovo's rights, but also for other topics that he raised only. We have nothing new but that he's sitting on the table breaking all the promises he's made to the” electorate.

Among other things, she says Kurti does not understand what the dialogueer is about, which, according to her, should have an agreement on within political subjects in order to succeed in dialogue.

The fact that Kurt is participating in meetings is not to say it's a statement, it's an attempt to continue the dialogue, but Kurti must have an agreement inside political subjects and political positions in order to go and succeed in Brussels”.

The extension of the dialogue, Musliu-Shoshi, is only seeing it in Serbia's favour, but says the dialogue process is also affecting non-liberalisation of visas for Kosovo.

While Alliance for the Future of Kosovo MP (AAK) Time Kadriaj in an interview for Online Economics says Prime Minister Albin Kurti thinks he is ahead of VV sympathies in Brussels and that he can populate.

Mr. Kurti is thinking that in Brussels it is ahead of VV sympathies and that it can become a population it represents Kosovo. She says there is an unwillingness to this topic, as she is going to dialogue with Serbia after holidays in Greece and France.

“We have a platformless dialogue and principles that are unfortunate, and you know that for a round of talks he has a legal obligation to come and report to the Kosovo Assembly and now it is the second round of talks and it has not arrived”.

It has also shown attitudes that are subject to the association of Serb majority municipalities.

We as the Alliance have the principles for dialogue, and we ask that association not have executive competencies, but that the association may be adopted, but according to the verdict that the Constitutional Court has issued”.
