“How heavy it was to see you there”, Gresa Krasniqi wrote on her father, who currently faces charges from the Special Prosecutor at The Hague.
On the other hand, she explained how emotional the meeting between her and her father had been, consistently expressing conviction that her father is being falsely charged.
Dad's injustice kills more than lead”, wrote the daughter of one of the KLA leaders.
Below, find Gresa Krasniqi's full writing:
For eight months and 12 days, we dreamed of your hug and your touch.
Today, on your lap, Dad's soul calmed down.
We forgot everything.
We forgot the pain, the wait, the suffering.
Life is unfair to good people. How good you are, Dad, how much injustice you endured.
I had this moment in my sleep and time with my eyes shut.
In front of the mirror, every morning I repeated the words I would say, and before you I became silent.
How we missed you!
How hard it was to see you there, but I saw you stronger than other times, although you faced other injustices I saw more smiling than other times, white beards to count your years of suffering has made you even happier.
You didn't break, Dad. I read a lot of scriptures from former prisoners telling your stories like a superhero. I convinced you, Dad. You don't break. You get stronger, that makes me happy.
How we missed you!
You know, you once again need Kosovo and the KLA. But we need you.
Injustice, Dad, kills more than lead.
We're fucked, you say, but this shit's hard to get through.
Love You
