Mayor Erol Salihu, who has experience as a lawyer and management of sports organisations, has been elected. Salihu is the secretary general of the Kosovo Football Federation and once a member of the UEFA Legal Committee.
Vice-chairman has been elected Armend Krasniqi, while secretary, Jehona Shyti.
The nine members that make up KAS are lawyers who have been elected to the last KOK Election Assembly, following proposals coming from sports federations.
The regulation for conflict resolution procedures, approved at the KOK Labour Assembly, also operates under KAS.
KAS functioning, is important for sports federations, clubs and all of Kosovo sports, because it solves all conflicts between federations, clubs and athletes.
