All those involved in this tragic event will be offered psychological assistance, he said, and reiterated that a 035 201 111 information centre has been formed in the hospital, which collects information from all relevant services for the injured's families.
There is no apparent deterioration in the clinical view of hospital patients. Some surgical procedures have already been conducted, and some of them in indicators that are not urgent will also be carried out tomorrow. Many patients suffered minor injuries and could be released home tomorrow”, Beros said.
Beros stressed that the state of health and injuries after the accident were stabilised thanks to the rapid reactions of all professional services ambulances, civil protection, firefighters and others.
After we did that medical piece, we continued with the organisation of support services. A psychologist and a clinical psychiatrist are available to our patients. Also, thanks to the quick response of Albanian Ambassador and citizens in Slavonski Brod they came here and gave the first word of comfort in their native language, which was extremely important”, the minister said.
He once again expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased and to all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, and expressed his desire for a quick recovery for all injured.
Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti is currently on a visit to Slavonski Brod to see closely the people being treated at the hospital.
Otherwise, 10 people have lost their lives and more than 40 have been injured in a traffic accident near Croatia's Slavonski Brod today, when a bus from Kosovo came out of the street and collapsed.
The bus driver has been arrested, and according to his testimony to the Croatian police, he was asleep at the tragic moment. The bus was coming from Frankfurt, Germany, to Kosovo. 69 passengers were on the bus.
In the case of this tragic event, President Vjosa Osmani has declared days of mourning in Kosovo on Monday.
Croatian authorities said this was the worst accident ever in the last 15 years in Croatia.
