Elton Sefa, 24, has been sentenced to prison forever for killing 47-year-old John Woodward. The Albanian may ask for a change in sentence only after 22 years in prison.
Woodward, an employee of G3 Construction and workshop Sefa were working at the Presman building in Hatton Garden, east of London.
On April 17, 2018, Woodward was found dead on the country's fourth floor with a head injury. Although initially believed to have fallen from the height, his wounds were found to have been caused by a powerful item.
Elton Sefa was arrested as suspected of murder but fled to Albania, so he also surrendered to Durres and was extradited back to England. The investigation revealed that Sefa had requested his weekly salary, and his colleague helped him with the company, then for unknown reasons, killed him.
Sefa said he did not remember the incident and was not held as a witness in the trial against him. So he has expressed no reason why he committed the murder. /dose.al/
