Gelos Prendi, her son, has said that she has constantly reminded the children killed in war.
The last time of her life, Mother Zoya, was quietly spent with family members, new grandchildren, despite the suffering and trauma she had, when she fired them, she said: “I'm ready to go into eternity because I'm watching my children's children grow up””.

Gelos Prendi said her mother's dying wish was to have a country.
