Drescu said Kosovo has so far approved several platforms for continuing talks with Serbia, which according to him are only obstacles to continuing dialogue.
“It is a platform against dialogue, all that has been done so far in Pristina. Interestingly, Albin Kurti protects the continuation of the negotiations but only in terms of preparing a new meeting. As he says, he will speak with President Vuciq to prepare another” meeting, Drescu said during one in the morning programme.
He said the positions of the US and the EU, at least formally, change.
The “American believe these talks should end with recognition of Kosovo's false state by Belgrade, or as they say mutual recognition, while Lajcak had to avoid such an election because of the five EU nations that do not recognise Kosovo”, Drescu said.
He said it is agreed to discuss the issue of missing persons, the return of displaced persons, bilateral financial claims, ownership and economic co-operation.
“Now, after his statements and field preparation, Kurti would accept his position to completely change the agenda so that the association of Serbian municipalities is not on the agenda at all. We will never allow it and never allow it. There is no conversation at all if they do not agree to form the Association of Serbian municipalities”, Drocun stressed, the Express broadcast.
He praised that it would be a difficult, positional fight over what will be decided on the agenda and how to proceed in the dialogue.
