Ngavci: North Mitrovica University Not Legal

Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation Arberie Nagavci has presented the work she has done since March, when she also took over the task of leading this dictatorship.

“Legislation in Kosovo, the law adopted in 2008, envisions that the North Mitrovica University will have a special status this university is managed by the northern Mitrovica municipality, which has to do with investments in its infrastructure, and that is why it does not require special favor by the AugustI. As for the functioning of this university, I can say it is not legitimate because it does not draft a status in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kosovo and has not been accredited by the Kosovo agency of accreditation. For this reason and is not financed by Kosovo's budget. The ministry considers that this issue should be addressed through dialogue with the Serb community in Kosovo under the resolution of the status of education in the Serbian language and in accordance with the constitution and laws of the Republic of Kosovo”, Nagavci said.
