Mustafa: It's political immature to try to play deals with Washington.

Mustafa in an answer to the T7 said that governments in the US change, but their policies towards Kosovo always remain consistent.

It's the political immature to try to play deals with Washington. The agreement is signed by a Kosovo legal government. Everything that figures in the agreement belongs to the scope of Government”, Mustafa said.

He has also stressed the very important benefits that go to Kosovo from this agreement.

And this deal's “The point of this deal is recognition by Israel, American investment, Millennium Challenge Corporation... Would somebody dare cancel? What is Kosovo's interest to do so.”, Mustafa said.

The government led by Albin Kurti a few days ago has considered the September 4th Agreement legally worthless, signed by then by Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq.

“To repeat a successful position of Prime Minister Kurti I have to say that first of all that document does not have the value and legal nature of an agreement because no one has been brought to the site to discuss it either to get the support of the Parliament and as such has rightly been described as a unilateral pledge document of a Government which at the time of signing of this document was without legitimacy and then it was later proven that it did not enjoy the legitimacy needed to be in the Governments. So that's the value of that document. Beyond that we are in contact with the United States to work together on topics that have common interest”, Government spokesman Progress Kryeziu said on Friday.
