Vetevendosje MP Hakki Abazi was nominated for ambassador to the United States, but to take the task, the problem made American citizenship.

Express with its sources reported that Ahaz could not move into further stages to become Kosovo's ambassador to America.

This is because Ahaz has American citizenship and is contrary to diplomatic regulations.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diasporas has been asked if their proposal for Hakki Abazi to become ambassador to Washington has been rejected. But MPD officials have not answered questions sent Thursday.

So this minister has neither denied nor confirmed that Ahaz was proposed for ambassador.

Ahaz, who was deputy prime minister in the Kurti I Government, has often attacked the media and has been involved in many clashes.

The one in the February 14th election was from LVV deputies who received the least vote. The number two of the Kurti I government took no position in the acute government and seems to have missed even plans for the campaign on diplomatic mission.

Kosovo has not named US ambassador since Vlora Citaku returned from there, following the dismissal by former Foreign Affairs and Diasporas Minister Glauk Konjufca. In fact, it remained for several months after the dismissal, until former President Thaci signed the Citak return decree. The diplomatic mission is officially being led by a charge d'afro, Valdet Sadiku.
