Jurgen Konings, 46, a specialist shooter, has not been seen since 17 May after receiving four anti-tank missile launchers and a number of other weapons.
He has also left a letter to his wife and police in which he threatened to kill Marc Van Ranstin, Belgium's best-known virologist and government adviser for measures against pandemic, writes The Guardian, Pryscope.
Van Ranst and his family were sent to a safe house protected by law enforcement.
The search for Connings, which has close ties to the far-right party, has been the focus of national media for a long time.
Prosecutors believe they discovered the bag belonging to Connings who had stood under a tree near his car that he left.
After each passing day and Connings is not found, the public is raising questions about the professionalism of Belgian police and armed forces.
