MP PDK: The government is making fun of families in social assistance when prices have increased

MP The PDK, Elmi Recica, has criticised Kurti Government over reducing pensioners' extensions and social assistance families, where such a thing is, according to him, happening at the time they have marked the price of food products and the high cost of treating COVID-19. Recica at today's Assembly session of Parliament said that at the time the price of oil has increased by up to 60 percent, treating patients with COVID-19 costs up to three thousand euros - a mockery of social categories that pensions decrease.
“A are aware that in recent months there are rising prices on the market for oil according to some estimates of up to 60 percent, as well as other major food items. Is there a price increase or nora? Are you aware that these additions to households in social and pension assistance will mean nothing when we consider raising prices on the market. Kosovo families in social and pension assistance need to provide their own budget medication for members of family affected by COVIDD-19 and the high cost of treatment locks, which according to some estimates treatment for an individual affected by COVID ranges from 2-3 000 euros. And add the next fact that we still don't have vaccines to prevent COVID-19. The government-endorsed extensions for households with social and pension assistance are mockery and fun for these families”, Recica said.
The session is under way after the pause for the intervention called by the AAK for Finance, Labour and Transfers Minister Hekuran Murati in connection with “Ulje in additions to pensioners, health staff and security institutions”.
