But Thomas Tuchel gave him extraordinary confidence by appointing him in the initial formation of the League of Legers' Finals on Saturday evening.
The 21-year-old repaid the coach's trust until he scored the only goal of the match after 42 minutes of play.
Haversz got a brilliant ball from Mason Moon, passed Ederson and scored at the empty gate.
It will forever be remembered as the goal that Chelsea won her second trophy at the League Champions.
