Haradinaj: It has not been taken of anti-law to say it offers competition for former KLA leaders

AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj has spoken about the Kosovo state race for former KLA leaders, linking it with the time it was protected in freedom, as it was indicted by The Hague for war crimes.

Haradinaj says there is no shame in offering guarantees for respecting the court's decisions, for protecting the accused in freedom, as he says it is not against the law.

It has not been addressed to the chairman of the Government as well as to the public, even if it were the court in Kosovo, and the Government that we are providing for the Court and the panel that every decision they make for the accused will be respected on our part, and we will respect the obligations issued by the Court in case of protecting the freedom of the accused. It's not taken to say this, it's not against the law.

Even the president can say we're offering any court guarantee that we will respect their decision, all their promises of freedom, we respect. I believe that Kosovo respects the judges' decisions, even this government respects them because we have experience because we have respected them in time of the UN”, Haradinaj said at ATV.

He also spoke of his case when he was protected in freedom, while he says he had no right to go out of Pristina, even if there was any physical need.

“I was released to freedom in Kosovo's time, in the second process I was handed over to the Kosovo Police. The international court has entrusted it to Kosovo, and Kosovo has never failed. Kosovo police are very professional.
