A new study, published in March of this year in “Psychology of Education Behaviors” has detailed the reasons why people see porn (or are obsessed with pornography). As three main reasons were listed: sexual pleasure (45%), sexual curiosity (12%) and sexual fantasy (10%).
As a result, the most frequent reasons were:
1. Boredom
Most people said that they saw porn to pass the time when they had nothing to do with it.
2. Emotional Focus
Others used it as a means of getting away from bad mood.
3. Fantasy
Many of the people involved said that they saw porn because they could only be closer to what they could experience in real life.
4. Lack of Happiness in Sexual Life
I see porn because my sex life isn't good enough. ”
5. Exploration of Self
Others viewed porn as a good form to learn new things. Sexual curiosity, satisfaction, and reduced stress are part of not giving up pornographic movies.
And while the most frequent consequences of this obsession were:
1. Conflict
Seeing many porn, people began to lose their best of themselves.
2. Infirmity to Disconnect
There are people who, although promising themselves that they will give up the obsession to watch porn, keep their word only for a very short time.
3. Tolerance
Some people feel the need to watch porn more and more so as to meet their needs.
4. Disabilities
Others become aggressive when it is impossible for them to view porn as they want it.
