Baby dead after birth in Gjilan, prosecution gives details to the arrested doctor

The founding prosecutor in Gjilan has appointed the 48-hour ban on doctor V.T.T., at Gjilan's Hospital, on suspicion that the same one has treated the injured D.T.Th. unconsciously.

According to the prosecutor, there is suspicion that the doctor has not used appropriate treatment methods after birth.

As a result, the baby is dead.

Gnjilan, May 22, 2021) The Constitutional Prosecutorship in Gjilan, the Randa Crime Department has called for the appointment of the detention measure against defendants V. TH, due to the suspicion that he has committed the criminal act, the irresponsible treatment of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.

According to the request, there is suspicion that on May 21, 2021, defendant V. TH., in the Gynecology Department at the Gnjilan Regional Hospital, has unconsciously treated damaged D. TH., in a way that at the time of her birth, using inadequate treatment methods, after birth, has been found for a short time that the child is without signs of life.

By order of the state prosecutor, the lifeless body of the child was sent to the Institute of Legal Medicine, while defendant V. TH, it's on hold for 48 hours.
