Former Kosovo Parliament President Visar Ymer has commented on the elections in Albania and the result of three candidates supporting LVV in this election. Ymer at “Debat Plus” has said LVV has had more potential in Albania, but according to him Kurti has withdrawn in recent days.
If he were serious, Mr. Kurti, or if he were the opposition in Kosovo, he would have committed much more to the campaign and perhaps he would have different results from the one he has today”, he said, sends out Telegrafi.
The former delegation says Kurti, after the second victory he scored in Kosovo, has withdrawn from his rhetoric in terms of joining Albania.
“From Lezha, Kurti has said Kosovo's Constitution prohibits joining Albania, and according to him the union would not be tomorrow's issue, as we have spoken before”
Ymer says Kurti has promised to open the LVV branch in Macedonia for a year but has no longer mentioned it.
There may have been international pressure to withdraw from this idea”
The former deputet says Boiken Abazi and two other candidates “abandoned” from Vetevendosje.
“Boiken and two other candidates were abandoned by Vetevendosje. The decision to compete in Albania's elections I do not believe has been taken over by Boygen. The decision was made by Vetevendosje. I haven't seen the seriousness of LVV in this race. I think Kurt didn't take this race for serious”, Wisar Ymeri said among other things.
We remember, LVV-backed candidate Boikn Abazi in Albania's elections so far has received 1,509 votes, or 0.64% in Tirana District.
