The Oscar award-sharing ceremony was held almost two months later than usual, and for the third consecutive year, there was no presentation. Star festivals after the big night did not occur, nor was the red carpet a red carpet anymore, but this did not dim the emotions of winners!
Despite all of this, this ceremony made history. Chloe Zhao won the best “directorial” for “Nomadland”, becoming the first colored woman to win such a prize and the second woman in the history of Oscar to win this award.
