Many Japanese people have their own ritual when it comes to washing their faces. The technique is known as “metoda 4-2-4”, lasts 10 minutes and has three main steps. One expert says that if you use this cleaning method, you do not need to wash your face in the morning, just at night. Besides, you don't have to do it every day. That's four times a week.
First 4 minutes: Oil phase
The oil phase aims to improve circulation by massaging the skin for 4 minutes, applying a oil (cleaner with oil) on the face. It is important to choose the right oil for you. Some Japanese women use Recini oil, yojoba, and so on. Be careful with massaging your skin if you see something wrong with your skin. Consult the dermatologist before taking this step, since many doctors do not recommend any oil for any type of skin.
Two minutes later: Cleaning
After massaging your face, place the washingr on your skin with oil. Wash your face for two minutes with soft moves so you don't hurt your skin.
Last 4 minutes: The Cave
Start with hot water for two minutes, then you end up in cold water for another two minutes. Warm water helps to remove excess oil from your skin and to increase your blood flow to the surface. Cold water can help narrow the harbors. This technique helps to hydrate the skin so that after the procedure the skin will shine.
