Zlatan Krstic and Dastan Shaban sentenced to over 21 years in prison for war crimes

For 14 years and 6 months, Zlatan Krstic was sentenced by the Special Department of the Basic Court of Pristina, while Dean Shabani has been sentenced to 7 years for war crimes against the civilian population.
Zlatan Krstic is charged that on March 26th 1999, in the village of Equipment, Ferizaj, he has directly participated in the attack on the civilian population of Albanian nationalism, namely the expulsion of 15 members of a family and the hostage taking of four people who have not actively participated in armed conflicts. According to the prosecution, Krstic has participated in torture, torture, disability and the shooting of victims, even throwing the corpses of the victims at the edge of the street in order to conceal crime.
While accused Dastan Shabani is charged that during the time of the war in Kosovo, as a member of Serbian police forces, that on April 1, 1999, in the quality of police inspector, armed with automatic weapons, with the aim of desecration, humiliation and derogatory treatment of O.N.'s lifeless troops, B.N., A.N., B.N. and I.R., killed by Serbian police and paramilitary forces, has ordered their troops to be buried without dignity and contrary to the rules of international humanitarian law.
The critical day in accordance with the indictment by the order of Shabanaj and other members had been dragged by truck to the victims from the morgue of the quay still without an autopsy, and had been sent to the nearby cemetery of Ferizaj City, where he was waiting for Shabanaj. Further in the indictment, he was said to have ordered a man named Max to dig a hole in his chariot so that his bodies could be thrown into it.
