Fear of sexual pain or problems on urinary streets are key reasons why women avoid intimacy over the years. Two out of ten women who have gone through menopausy claim to avoid sex because they fear they will suffer pain, while one in ten claimed to have problems with the bladder.
Through this study, experts found that the decline in sexual activity over the years comes not necessarily because they are not interested in sex, but in fact the problem for a part is mainly physical.
Sex pain was reported as a problem by 20%, while 9% had problems with urinary bladders, related to fear that they might pee in bed or perhaps they would have to interrupt the act and go to the toilet.
