Week that put Kosovo at a crossroads: From Lajcak's map to Serbia's trick and Netanyah's letter

Last week, which was the last week of February, produced a huge number of important political events from the Kurti dilemma between Israel and Turkey, the police action, the beating of a journalist, the trick of Serbia with Bosniaks' votes, and finally with Miroslav's UN-neutrale map. [...]
The short month was actually not so short for Kosovo. In addition to the election campaign, elections itself, the pandemic situation we had a large number of other developments deserving of treatment.
This month's last week was especially important, writes Periscope.
It started with an action at the Agriculture Development Agency. [ Footnote] AZHB] where twelve people were arrested, most of them its officials. Two suitcases containing some $400,000 were also confiscated there.
The prosecution claims that there is strong evidence of some of those charged with bribery and misuse of official office.
Whether this action is over is unknown.
And while the state was making these moves in the direction of rule of law, a trick Serbia had made in the February 14th elections was exposed. Bosnian candidate Adrijana Hodzic turns out she has received numerous votes in Serb majority municipalities, where no Bosnians live by going out and voting among this community.
Albanian leaders fell asleep. Albin Kurti, chairman of the most voted Albanian party, said only at the end of the week about this development, saying he would see opportunities for this to be challenged legally.
Meanwhile, it was the European Union's special emissary. [ The EU] for dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, who on a presentation exposed a map of his Southeast Europe where Kosovo was seen to be part of the Republic of Serbia. Such a protest was protested by opposition activists in the country, but not by the new incoming power that had been highly critical of the US Special Minister for Dialogue, Mr. Richard Green.
And what was expected to happen with regard to the pandemic situation happened. After a few weeks of going well, they were marked with increased testing rates, but not the number of cases again increased. It is not known how much the election campaigning situation contributed to the deterioration of all parties that did not comply with the measures against the spread of Covid-19.
Now in a few days, the number of infected for one day has not dropped 400, causing fear of a tightening of measures.
The added language of hatred and failure to endure in the country over the past two years, meanwhile, produced the next victim. He was journalist Visar Duriqi, who was secretly attacked by three unknown people after a television debate.
This ugly act was also condemned by politicians who had served to promote this language of not being patient during this time, among them Albin Kurti.
But most citizens again praised the act of a weak act by attacking the victim and luring the aggressor into social media.
Kurti, it seems that once he gains power, he will have to hurt Kosovo's relations in international reports. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed him with a letter saying he was expecting him in Jerusalem under the inauguration of the Kosovo Embassy. But, at the same time, Rexhep Tayyip Erdogan turned to him, warning him if Kosovo opened the embassy in the controversial Israeli capital.
In this case, Kurt is not just between Israel and Turkey, but also between the United States and some EU member states, and some Islamic states.
His movement could produce irreparable damage to the country's citizenship. /Periscope
