Sophia Vergara shows what it's like to be a 19-year-old mother!

Many women may decide to become mothers when they feel that their personal and professional lives have reached a stable point or that they simply feel that they are ready to bring a child to life. However, others face the challenge of learning at a very young age, and this is also the case of actress Sofía Vergara, who became a mother of Manolo at the age of 19. The star of “Modern Family” managed to raise her son only without losing his career goals.

Sophilia Vergara was married to Joe Gonzalez from 1991 to 1993, with whom she gave birth when she was 19. After being separated from Gonzalez, Sofía made every effort to care for her young son so that he could have everything he needed.

I was really young when I got divorced from his father, so I raised him trying to set the best example and gave him the best I could. When people compliment me on him for how kind, charming, funny, and kind he is, it makes all the sacrifices worth”, says Sophia.

Although she does not repent of becoming a mother at such a young age, she admits that everything would have been easier if Manolo arrived 10 years later. When the child was still very young, the actress had to leave him with his grandmother to work, which broke his heart whenever she did.

Becoming a mother has much to do with instinct, a sense of responsibility, commitment and even self-forgiving,” she explained to the Spanish media.

Sofia's career in the cinematography industry is very varied. In 1995, she made a worldwide tour of Fernando Fior thanks to Telemundo's TV show, “Fuera de Dra series”, and later took part in films like Chasing Papi, Four Brothers, Hot Pursuit, etc. Sophia Vergara has been also part of very successful sit-com series like Family Guy and Modern Family.

On the other hand, Manolo also walks on Vergara's trail. 29-year-old is a film director, has a channel on YouTube and has been part of some movies like “Destination to Reed”, “Gulity Party: History of Lying”, etc.
