Named for vote purchases, Shumbin Demalija speaks of charges against him

The candidate for MP from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Shkumbin Demalijaj, has talked about video incision that has been published in the media, mentioning the name as if to vote buying.

He has said that although he is silent in front of the public, he has followed the procedures for denouncing the portal that have published this video recording.

I've been silent about the public because I don't know who made the video, but I have knowledge of the newspaper that published this video. I don't know anybody in that video that's mentioned there, it's not true what they say because I'm not part of any vote buying. First I went to the police to sue the case, but I have been informed that the prosecution has already opened up the case and advised me to continue with civil sentencing. In the newsroom of Insider my request for deportation has been submitted, and I have to wait 48 hours for their response, but if there is no publication of the dean and apology then I can proceed with indictments due to the insult made by this medium“, Demaliyay said at RTV Dukajni, the Periscope broadcast.

He has said he does not deny those who speak on video, while he has said he never needed to get votes from the Accounting Centre, as votes have been provided to citizens.

On the other hand, Vehbi Kajtazi from Inseder has said the procedures Demaliyaj is following are normal, while he has encouraged him to take the case directly to the tribunal.

So far, two people who speak on video have been arrested at the order of the prosecutor by Kosovo Police. /Periscopi
