Haradinaj said facing Serbia was the only solution.
It hasn't changed anything, nor today, it won't change in weather or ever. Because on March 24, 1998, we had no choice but to confront Serbia. It was not a matter of wish, but it was inevitable what happened on March 24, 1998. This event was not the first. We have seen before this a heroic confrontation of the legendary family of Adam Jashar to sacrifice. We were aware that we are faced with a difficult fate that can be compared to life or death”.
The first of the AAK also remembered the three martyrs Hime Haradinaj, Gazmend and Agron Mehmetaj, who were martyrs on 24 March 1998.
That day was a day not easy which ended with an epilogue. That epilogue was in this place where we are today”
Haradinaj further spoke of NATO intervention, where he said that day was amazing after a year of war.
Haradinaj from Glodjani had a greeting for Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, who days ago published the Kosovo map covered with the Serbian flag.
And as those who make maps of their symbols, we tell them that the symbol of our land is the people who live here”.
