Lumez indicated it was about six police officers and two Poles, among whom seven were Albanians and a Kosovo Serb.
He added that in terms of the case, police have been investigating for more than a year.
This case is being investigated almost a year. It's been a year in co-operation with the IPK and KK, we have implemented the secret measures of investigation and surveillance, and on the basis of the information we've received from the wiretapping we've come to the conclusion that we must start investigating even for some people to prove their criminal responsibility for actions that they've illegally undertaken to<1>, he said.
Lumez also detailed charges weighing on arrested police officials.
These eight people are suspected of several criminal acts: Use and authorisation, which is punishable by 1-8 years in prison, treatment during the exercise of official duty, influence exercise, easy bodily access, narcotics possession”, has further said Lumezy.
He announced that Kosovo police today have raided the properties of some of these officials.
There's been a few house-houses of official people being raided today by the prosecutor's order. During these raids nine mobile phones, a car and several official documents and reports that will serve us in later criminal procedure”, he said.
