Bytyqi, during February, has returned to work as Leader of the MI Procurement Department, Nexhat Krasniqi, acting contrary to the almighty ruling of the Supreme Court of Kosovo.
Through this action, Bytyqi also conflicts with implementation of the principle of legitimacy and implementation of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo. Failure to comply with the judicial decision is the direct responsibility of the Secretary General and relevant institutions, thus violating the provisions of the Republic of Kosovo's Penal Code.
Minister Abrashi expresses determination to open the way to functioning justice in MI and preventing trying to manipulate documents issued by the institutions of justice in the Republic of Kosovo. On this basis, Bytyqi has been relieved of duty Monday (01.03.2021).
What happened?
On Monday, Abrashi had fired from the position of ministry secretary Izedin Bytycin, appointing Zymer Abdullah. However, the decision was cancelled the next day by the State Council for Education and Discipline. Interior Minister Agim Veliu signed the decision to abort, saying Abrashi's decision was illegal. He decided to get Bytyqi back to his workplace.
