Abdjiku and Osmani reportedly met yesterday from the media's eye on the president's case

Sources of the newspaper Insander have indicated that during the Saturday, the chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, and presidential candidate Vjosa Osmani, have discussed the question of Kosovo's Democratic League participation in the process of choosing the latter.

The leadership of the Democratic League of Kosovo is expected to finally decide on the presidential issue Monday.

Obadiah and Osman have met many days ago. After the meeting, the LDK chairman said the meeting with Osman has been positive.

Abdixhiku said they will meet with Osman again, while the final decision on whether to back him for president said they will receive him after internal consultations in the LDK.

Asked whether there might be LDK deputies voting against the party's stance during the president's vote, he said that can't happen because MPs will respect the party's decision.

On the other hand, the Vetevendosje Movement is considering the election of Vjosa Osmani president of the country as a matter of days. At Albin Kurti's party, no problems are expected in the institution's single highest institution. Meanwhile, they are classed against a possible compromise to elect the president outside Vjosa Osmani's name.

For the president's election, in the first two votes, two-thirds of the vote is needed, and 80 votes are cast for MPs.

Meanwhile, in the third round, president is elected who gets the simple majority of 61 MPs, but in all three votes at least 80 MPs should participate.

If even the third round fails, the country goes to extraordinary elections that should be held within 45 days.
