(5 years ago)On the occasion of opening the election campaign, European People's Party Secretary (PPE) for Foreign Relations Patrick Voller has said Wednesday that only the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) and its candidate for prime minister, Avdullah Hoti can successfully direct Kosovo to fight pandemic, develop the economy and [to] them.
Today's political “challenges are more complex, but the LDK has its own experience of leading the state in this difficult time as it is today. Those who shout loudly for attention are not necessarily better for solving today's problems. Therefore, we within the popular European family fully support Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti and his excellent team for the upcoming elections in Kosovo”, Voller has said at the opening ceremony of the LDK campaign, through a live link from Brussels.
Voller said that “we believe in Mr. Voller's experience. Hoti, in his fight for economic reform, knowing best to advance Kosovo on its Euro-Atlantic path. The LDK is a party which will work best for the necessary economic recovery, for business interests, for new investments, for economic reforms, for support of small and medium enterprises, for family businesses, for young people and women”.
Voller said all of this can be achieved by seeing candidates very well and experienced in the LDK team, for these important elections.
