You probably heard of “Bridgerton”, but did you know it's become the most watched serial in Netflix history?! With 82 million viewers in the first 28 days of the program, the series broke all records. The announcement comes from the Netflix platform, which given the big success, announced last week that there will be a second season.

The series, created by Chris Van Dusen and produced by Shonda Rhimes, based on Julia Quinn novels, thrilled the audience with events set out in the world of London's higher society during the English regime. For the first season protagonist is Daphne Bridgerton, who, in her debut in high society, will meet the Duke of Hastings (played by Regé-Jean Page), Simon, a single and good friend of her brother, Anthony.

Episodes appeared premiere on platform 25 December last year, and some American media described it as a successful mix between “Gossip Girl” and “Downon Abbey”.
“I believe the show offers the public an unbelievable time travel, when this is exactly what they need”, said screenwriter Van Dusen in an interview.
