Political parties fine over 120 thousand euros for breaking election silence

The institution has accepted 134 complaints concerning this kind of violation by political parties, but has accepted 177 of them as being based.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo is fined 42,500 euros, Vetevendosje Movement with 37,500 euros, Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, 22,000 euros, NISMA, 2,000 euros and the 1,000-euro Serbian List.

According to Central Election Commission preliminary data, the Vetevendosje Movement, led by Albin Kurti, has won the February 14th elections of about 48 per cent of the vote.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo has won 17.35 per cent of the vote, the Democratic League of Kosovo 13.18 per cent of the vote, and in fourth place is the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo with 7.42 per cent.
