Police have begun investigating Christiano Ronaldo and his partner.
The renowned football player, Cristiano Ronaldo, is facing a police investigation into a possible violation of the isolation rules after a romantic departure with Georgina Rodriguez, writes The Sun.
Police are reportedly looking at concerns that the couple broke Italian isolation restrictions for a night away in the Alps, broadcast news.net.
Italian authorities have imposed a ban on travel between regions as Juventus' star and his partner left Turin for a stay at Valle d'Aosta.
The ski resort is approximately two hours from Turin by car.
On Tuesday evening, Rodriguez celebrated her 27th birthday with Ronaldon in the five-star hotel “Le Massif”
The couple dined together and reportedly spent the night after a snow engine trip around the mountains of Val Veny.
Their trip was documented on social networks with photos published by themselves and distributed by millions of their followers.
That afternoon, they returned to Turin prior to the victory of the Italy Copa Juventus over the SPAL.
Ronaldo was thrown out of the game by manager Andrea Pirlo to allow a short break.
According to La Stampa, police visited the hotel on Thursday and found it closed.
Italian authorities are said to be unable to punish Ronaldo or Rodriguez with a 400-euro fine for unauthorized movements.
Fines should be distributed in the country at the moment of the violation as police questioning why they were in the area.
