The Kosovo Institute for Research and Development of Kosovo Policy (KIPRED) has released the report on the deinformative Russian and Serbian media campaign against Kosovo for 2020.
The executive director of this institute, Lulzim Peci, invited to the Info Magazine show, has said Serbian and Russian media are co-ordinated in dezinformation against Kosovo's citizenship.
“We have monitored on a monthly basis for a year a number of Serbian media and we have seen that they during the past year have produced about 4,500 news stories dealing with Kosovo. We have also monitored a number of Russian media (in English) during this time they have produced about 1700 news about Kosovo”.
He has announced that this institute has also conducted monitoring of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Kremlin.
“These data shows that the deinformative campaigns of Russia and Serbia are co-ordinated because these media are seen as controlled by governments. They aim to denigrate Kosovo citizenship, then try to present U CK as a terrorist formation even with Islamic organisations does not have much limit to their” imagination.
