Former political adviser to former President Thaci Adil Behramaj has commented on the Special Court's decision to postpone Thaci's appearance before the Special Court by February 16th, which was earlier scheduled for February 11th, three days before Election Day in Kosovo.
Behrramaj has said that this Special Court decision is again political calculations, because they are afraid Hashim Thaci and Kadri Veselini's one-day media presence affects voters and undermines their political scenario, which are trying to live in the name of justice.
The former Thaci adviser has said it is another evidence that their departure from the political scene in the name of justice was and remains completely synchronized.
This is the full status of Adil Behramaj, former Thaci advisor:
From the announcement of the Special Prosecutor's Office to hand over the indictment to Hashim Thaci and Kadri Veselini, an unprecedented practice in international justice until the current decision to postpone their appearance before the Special Court, from February 11th to February 16th, seems to have no chance in bringing this court to the KLA founders and founders of the state of Kosovo.
With the publication of the announcement to establish the indictment not yet confirmed, the Special Court made geopoliticals. With the postponement of their appearance before the Procedure Judge, because we are on the eve of election day, the Special Court made political calculations. Fearing the presentation of Hashim Thaci and Kadri Veseline even at Special Chambers in The Hague.
They are afraid that their one-day media presence affects voters and undermines their political scenario, which they are trying to live in the name of justice. This is further evidence that their departure from the political scene in the name of justice was and remains completely synchronized.
However, the right to vote has not been denied and their votes have reached from The Hague to the Central Election Commission. Hashim Thaci and Kadri Wessel are known to have voted and it is known who they want you to vote.
