Actress Evan Rachel Wood accuses famous singer of rape and violence

American actress Evan Rachel Wood has claimed that singer Marilyn Manson abused her during their three-year relationship. Manson and Wood started connecting in 2007 and were engaged in 2010, but split that same year.

Manson has denied the charges, saying it was about “Horrible consequences of reality”. Wood once said she was a survivor of domestic rape and abuse, not to mention Manson's name.

Following Wood's accusations, Loma Vista Records that published Manson's latest albums said in a Twitter statement that he would no longer work with the artist and stop promoting his latest album immediately.

The American TV network Starz said that the Manson presentation in the fantastic American Gods drama will be removed from an upcoming episode. On Monday, Wood claimed that Manson was its first abuser through a statement posted in its Instagram account.

My abuser's name is Brian Warner, also known in the world as Marilyn Manson,” confirmed the Westworld actress. He started to seduce me when I was a teenager and he abused me terribly for years. I was brainwashed and manipulated for submission. ”

Manson answered the charges at the Instagram Monday evening, saying:

Of course, my art and my life have long been magnet for controversy, but these recent claims around me are terrible distortions of reality. My intimate relationships have always been consensual with partners. Regardless of how, and why, others are now choosing to misinterpret the past, that is the truth. ”

Other women went through social media platforms Monday to make similar statements accusing Manson of abuse.
