In this regard, Minister of Internal Affairs Jedal Svecla has said that this action has had, not limited persons, but lawbreakers.
“As we have vowed to fight crime in every corner of the country, today the Kosovo Police action against construction crimes that have destroyed a significant portion of the mountains in the Brezovica area was successfully developed. This action has not had specific persons or certain ethnicities. This action, like any other action by the Kosovo Police, has had limits on lawbreakers who have consistently destroyed public wealth for personal or clan benefit” through various forms, written Svecla in a Facebook post.
Svechla has added that they remain committed to offering security, order and law to all citizens.
“Lawbreakers will be fought indiscriminately, without exception, throughout the Republic of Kosovo”, he has written.
The chief prosecutor of the Constitutional Prosecutor in Ferizaj, Shukri Jashari, along with the prosecutor of the Rasim Maloku case, as well as representatives from the Kosovo Police, have provided details of the action conducted today in the municipality of Shtrpca.
The conference said that 10 people have been cuffed from this action, while 61 thousand euros and other coins, such as dollars, Swiss francs, money, etc. In addition, it became known at the conference that eight cars worth 300 thousand euros, firearms, phones were seized.
As reported today by Online Reporter.net, among those arrested is former Shtrpce Chairman Bratislav Nikolic, several other officials and owners of firms, due to suspicion of criminal acts “taking bribes”, “Briganit Chamber” and “The use of official position or authority<6> of the Penal Code of the Republic of Kosovo (KPRK).
