How much money is paid by teachers, doctors, and policemen under the new Law?

Currently, for this law, its lifestyle and cost will be discussed in the Kosovo Assembly, during sessions to be held in December, and on 22nd this month, it will be finally known if the new wage law can take “min” to implement at the end of the three-month period of 2022.

Implementation of this law is now the main requirement of several unions in the country, such as the SBASK, health, firemen and civil servants.

If the new wage law is not adopted by 1 March next year, SBASK and other unions have warned school closures.

Stronger to Kurti Government has been Blerim Syla from Kosovo's FSSHK since Kurti and his miners have given them until 15 years of salary increases of up to 50 per cent or so to this health service offer, in addition to emergency ones.

Blic has secured the law of the then proposed salary (2019) by Besnik Tahiri, the Nacional Co-ordinator for state reforms.

This law has already been introduced at the request of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo for debate in the Kosovo Assembly by current deputies and the current government to find a way through the adoption of this law to target the increase of salaries for different sectors, this requirement of most trade unions in Kosovo.

But who wins and loses it in case he starts living on March 1, 2022

Health

Hospital Service Director University Clinic with the new law will raise monthly salaries from 1,116 euros currently at 1.613 euros, meaning that for 396.33 cents, there will be a salary increase.

A special doctor with the new wage law from 812 euros will benefit 1242 euros, or that the salary increase will be higher for 353 euros.

The family quality doctor will also benefit from this law, where the current salary of 662 will increase to 1195 euros or 492 euros more.

A small wage cut for the prime ministers will deal with the new law -- from 602 euros a month -- they will receive salaries reduced to 597 euros.

Education

Even in the education sector, there will be salary increases in the event the new wage law gets amen from the Parliament and Government for Implementation.

A high school director from the salary currently receives 609 euros will receive a raise of 693, or additions that will be in the new law is 83 euros.

Out of 547 euros in 693 will be the salary for a special school principal with the new law, meaning there will be an increase of 145 euros.

A director of pre-school institutions will pay 597 euros with the new law, which is currently salary 534 euros. The increase would amount to 73 euros.

The new wage law will also benefit teachers. One in high school will receive a salary of 621 euros, which currently pays 525 euros. The increase will take 95 euros more.

A primary school teacher (Centiary 6-9) by law will receive monthly wages at 585 euros, or 114 euros more.

And a teacher in classes from 1 to 5 will benefit 78 euros more. Their salary is 471 euros, but under new law it will become 549 euros.

A school teacher or psychologist will receive a salary of 549 euros or 96 more. Their salary is 431 euros.

Police

If the law is implemented then top Kosovo police leaders will also be affected in their salaries, but unlike doctors and educators, they will be reduced wages with the new law.

The new law envisions lowering the salary of the general police director from 1929 euros to 1912.

Also affected by this law will be the deputy director of police, where his salary will be 1553 euros with the new law, while currently receiving monthly salaries worth 1706 euros.

Even the assistant police director will be lowered wages from 1508 euros as it currently stands, it will receive law in 1434 euros.

Firefighters

Pay increases will also be for firefighters in the country. In addition to the leaders of the firemen, there will be an increase for their workers.

The commander of firemen from 621 euros will currently receive 669 euros or 47 more.

His deputy from 480 euros will receive the 525-euro salary.

The beating will also have for categories, fires 1, 2, 3 out of 480, 470, 470 to 525 euros.

By December 22nd, it will be known whether the new law will be implemented

The government of Kosovo has already seen this law in its work plan in 2021.

In addition to the Government, this law is involved in legal agenda.

Currently in the first-read pane, the 2022 budget project was passed.

Political parties involved in the Assembly have already provided additional tenders for the 2022 budget.

One of these referrals is that of Alliance for the Future of Kosovo leader Besnik Tahiri.

The 2022 wage law implementation “will need 85m euros”, said among other things in this institution that has been commissioned by the Blic newspaper.

Tahiri has said he hopes this amount will be budgeted for 2022 for the law to be implemented.

“The chairman has mentioned that in October of this year this law will come to the Assembly for discussion this did not happen. The law is included in the government agenda for 2021, 2025. I have three questions for the prime minister. In case this law doesn't apply, does it fool the union, is the government's inability to implement this law, or is it the government's priority of this government's new salary law?
