That's what a woman is facing who wrote in Reddit, after her mother-in-law never calls before she appears on the doorstep.

The woman who first became a mother only eight weeks ago said she and her husband have asked her mother-in-law to call first, but she doesn't think she should.

She wrote: “I was born a child eight weeks ago, and since then my mother-in-law has been in the habit of coming without calling. The woman later admitted that after having a particularly bad day last week, she decided to avoid all contact with her mother - in - law, pretending that she was not at home.

I looked out the bedroom window to see my mother-in-law going through the front door and honestly wanted to cry. Apparently, she called my husband to work to say that he had tried to visit me because he called home to see if everything was okay.
