1. Learn a New Language

Learning a new language brings you many benefits. Except for a personal skill, it's an excellent brain exercise that slows down and prevents memory loss. Language learning activities will help you to remember, know, and understand words that can lead to a very high level of cognitive activity. Learning a language is a powerful weapon against memory loss and improves vocabulary and grammar and mental and verbal fluency.

2. Words and puzzles are also a good exercise

Another exercise that enrichs general knowledge and helps prevent memory loss is the solution to crossword puzzles, word games, and puzzles. Sudoku, or Scrabble, and crossword puzzles significantly reduce the risk of developing Alzheimer's disease.

3. Don't underestimate the power of music

7. Mnemonic devices are also useful

Mnemonic devices help you remember things more easily. Connect a visual image with a name or word or try acronyms for larger words. Alterations, rhyming, and humorary sketches are three excellent ways to remember names, facts, numbers, and other important information.
