The price of electricity is expected to reach the peak during this winter. But this increase will be transitional, at least according to the European Union Agency for Co-operation of Energy Regulatorys.
Prices will mark significant reductions in April of next year, both in the current and in the gas market, Kosovo reports.
This situation is expected to affect Kosovo as distributor K ESCO part of the energy imported from the outside. However, according to the connoisseur, Lulzim Syla, in the spring we will not be able to escape the most expensive bills, Klan Kosova reports.
Nexhat Llumnica, of the Energy Corporation Union, agrees, adding another reason, as Kosovo B is expected to be introduced into revitalisation. Therefore, KESCO will need more import.
This says there may also be reductions during the winter, due to increased electricity spending. And for facing this crisis, Syla says the government has to react.
The ACER report explains that current energy prices will affect all areas in Europe, even in the future.
The import price in Kosovo has been fivefold in recent weeks. But the value of electricity in household economies' bills will not change until April 2022, when the Energy Regulatory Office is expected to consider the price increase.
