COMMU NICATH FOR MEDIA
On May 12th 2018, at the Vatican, I have accompanied Prime Minister Haradinaj to the meeting with Cardinal Parolin, where, among other things, agreement has been reached on diplomatic representation between the Republic of Kosovo and the Holy See through the Apostolic Delegate for Kosovo and Kosovo Diplomatic Representative at the ambassador level.
The agreement reached has been followed with careful steps through the Verbal Note, both sides have formulated the appointment of Nunci Jean-Marie Spic for Kosovo's Apostolic Delegates, Ambassador Anton Berisha, diplomatic representatives for Holy Headquarters; as well as the goodwill of the transitional stage, Apostolic Nunciatura in Lublane and the Contact Office in Pristina, respectively, to work towards the transfer of the Contact Office to the Vatican.
With the arrival of the Kurti I Government, despite Prime Minister Kurti's affirmation stand, the case has remained open, while the government Hoti itself Prime Minister Hoti, although it has had all the necessary information, has dealt wrongly and harmfully with Kosovo, unilaterally cancelling the agreement and undermining Kosovo in political handling the issue.
President Osmani's decision to appoint Mr. The Miftari Vehbi, representative of the Republic of Kosovo, contact with the Holy See, is a proper step and improved Mr. Hoti, in review of the bilateral agreement: Republic of Kosovo-Selia Holy; as long as in the corresponding sense V ENDING 441/21 is scandalous and hopeless in diplomatic experience.
The president must maintain the quality of the agreement and take steps forward, otherwise the decision is to lower the representative level, merge the Vatican Contact Office into the Diplomatic Mission in Italy, the unclear appointment of the Council Minister on his diplomatic and competence status with the Holy See.
This approach is inconsistent and harmful, so I recommend that the president not approve this scandalous and irresponsible decision of Minister Grovalla to examine all documentation and the performance of this process.
Of course, in the interest of the country, being the only representative to have carried out this task, I am willing to contribute all I can.
AB.
