There is no doubt that humans are very social creatures. But since it is known that associating with others makes you happier is not if you are very wise.
Psychologists from the University of Singapore and London's School of Economics and Political Science found this exactly when they studied more than 15,000 young people than staying alone is a sign of high intelligence.
They concluded that since people are generally happier when they spend time with others, very wise people are exempt.
The study said this is the result of evolution. Wise people can adapt more easily to the modern world, so they do not need close relationships with someone to help you find food and shelter, like what our ancestors did.
Their theory is that wise people are more aspiring and want to spend more time working on their goals than spending time socializing.
The study found that the most intelligent people actually have lower life satisfactions as much as they associate with friends that means that having spent time with friends makes them unhappy.
