The Secretary General of the Kosovo Handball Federation, Izet Djindjic, has reacted to the shameful behaviour of Serbian Banja Luka fans towards Kosovo champion Besa Fagas.
Djindjic sharply condemns their threatening and insulting language and has suggested that the FHK will also address the EHF for these scenes located in the “Borik” gym.
It should be noted that Bortz has defeated him with a score of 28:25 The key to the first round game of the European Cup. Besa lost in a hostile atmosphere.
“Thank you and gratitude for the great players and leaders of our champion team, Besa Famgas.
On Sunday night, Besa played one of her most important games, but also very heavy on our handball. In Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina has faced the famous team Borci. Before the match, but during it too, insults against Albanians by local audiences were among the most different. They've never stopped.
Unfortunately, a European match has been used as a platform by Serbian fans from Banjaluka to insult Albanians. Even calling for the murder of Albanians.
Of course, leaders of the Federation that Kosovo Handball condemn them and will immediately address the EHF to take steps.
A week from now, there's a fight back to Pec. So I call on everyone to be present at the “Karagachi” gym and with sports alone to support our champion to victory.
Our fans' behaviors must be really sporting, to witness the high culture we have as a people and that has always distinguished us. That's what we have to promise.
Finally Sunday's match in Banjaluka was the performance that took our handball and our country in general.
Thanks to Besa Fagas and the success and qualifications at the third round of EHF Cup”, Djindovci reacts to his profile in Facebook.
