Firefighters in Pristina, as in all of Kosovo, work under grave conditions, despite the extremely human mission they have in society. The firefighters are usually not given much attention even in election campaigns, because they are few and do not constitute large numbers of votes.
However, unlike other times, Pristina chairmanial candidate Daut Haradinaj has the issue of Pristina firefighters on the governing programme. Among your fugitives are dealing with firefighters, in the AAK candidate programme, is the provision of health insurance for Pristina firemen.
Haradinaj intends that a special treatment is first dedicated to the unresolved status of the Fire Brigade in Pristina, with top priorities being their dignified treatment. This implies that a new capital government with Haradinaj chairman would see to it that firemen's personnel are professional and equipped with newer technology tools for work.
Similarly, within the framework of the Security and Emergency Sector will be established the Special Directorate of Firemen, which in a short period will work on resolving the status of this brigade, the health insurance for firefighters, but also expanding personnel.
Another analysis that has been done in Haradinaj's programme has to do with rapid and high construction in Pristina. This trend, according to Haradinaj, imposes decentralisation of firefighters, but other emergency services, to respond to needs in case of fire disasters or accidents of various natures.
Haradinaj, during the campaign, has visited and talked with firefighters in Pristina. They have welcomed Haradinaj's proposals and given him support in his candidacy, hoping that their problems of status nature, but also of other nature, will be resolved once and for all.
Haradinaj has a broad and original programme built on preliminary analysis and research, on Pristina's problems and needs. As such, his program has successfully addressed most of the capital's many needs.
