The French Lyon team has held a match as a guest against the Czechs of Sparta Prague, in which it managed to record victories with a close score of 4:3.
Today's match was valid for the third leg of Europe's League Groups, where Lyon and Sparta Prague are in Group A along with the Cornby Rangers.
In Lyon Kosovo midfielder's victory with Swiss passport Gerdan Shaqiri played a full 7550 minutes, but failed to register goals or assist on his name.
But, except for not scoring or assisting a goal, Shaqiri was not well received by Czech fans at the “General Ceska poyovna Arena” stadium, as the latter displayed flags with inscriptions “Cosovo is Serbia”.
Not yet known if there will be sanctions from European football house U EFA on the gesture made by fans of Sparta Prague team.
