In Mitrovica, the Democratic Party of Kosovo candidate Bedri Hamza was confirmed in the first round of elections. It received 16 566 votes, or translated into percentage 53.69%.
The outgoing chairman, Agim Bahtiri, who was the candidate of the Vetevendosje Movement, received 10 654 votes, or 34,53%.
