“Washington Agreement”: Serbia prepares documentation for construction of gas pipeline towards Kosovo

Serbia's Minister of Mining and Energy Zorana Mihajlovic has declared that documentation for the construction of the pipeline to Pristina will be prepared this year.
Mihajlovic has said that for the construction of this pipeline, the tender will be announced for next week, where a company for the construction of Serbia-Kosovo connection will be taken.
“Let's be completely specific: The Nis-Dimitrovgrad gas intervention, I think a tender for the construction of that pipeline will be announced next week, has already been announced a tender for the company that will oversee the construction of that link. Also done this year is technical documentation of the project for liaisons with other countries”, Mihajlovic said.
“As in transport as well as in energy and gas, we must be a transit corridor. Documentation will be made for ties with Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro. Documentation will also be prepared for the construction of the gas pipeline to Pristina to be connected to Montenegro. This gives Serbia the opportunity to accept gas that will be from another supplier”, she told Voice of America.
