VV is reasoned: Defends the two members of the CEC's decision, and its new KUND stance

The Vetevendosje movement has already issued public response following allegations that it is being hypocritical in its positions regarding the way the vote is verified by the diaspora after it became public that its two members had voted Proposed by the CEC. Sami Kurteshi and Alym Rama, VV representatives in [...]

Sami Kurteshi and Alym Rama, VV representatives at the Central Election Commission. CEC], raised hands to vote Probing the diaspora votes to be verified by phone calls.

Even the latter, Alym Rama, had also taken an oath by giving positive comments on the decision, which he called “in line with European Union recommendations. ” But VV members have been deeply disappointed with such a thing.

And now it's Vetevendosje that has used Facebook to try to clarify the radical change of attitudes.

This party says its two members have voted pro “solely on cases of dispute according to procedures, when many apps with different surnames and the same number are sent from an e-mail address. ”

According to this party, the CEC must draft an Administrative Direction expected to be adopted today.

Our “representatives have not voted for a moment to verify all the applications of their countrymen, and much less to cancel them by a single call from the CEC. This is technically not possible and legally forbidden! But even though the greatest damage has been averted, which came through complications and restrictions that the use of personal addresses and envelope sharing brings, we still consider that Even with this decision, the right of our countrymen is violated vote. So, about the V Movement. YOU are now addressed PZAP's.” writes VV, which is reluctant, however, to stand completely against its two party members.

Full status:

Movement V EVATHER! hand over the complaint to PZAP on the CEC's decision about verifying the apps for the Magyar vote.

Movement V DEPENSE! has filed a complaint today in PZAP about the CEC's decision to verify the Magyar apps for the February 14th 2021 elections at the meeting held on January 11, 2021.

As for voting this decision by LV representatives in the CEC should initially be stressed that the request of other members of the CEC has been to apply each one from personal addresses, which would result in individual submissions for voting and not as it has so far been in place by a common application for close members of a family. This has been rejected by the two LV representatives, because this would create problems and complications for fellow countrymen. Not every fellow traveler can have a personal address, especially the oldest, until the individual sending out the envelopes for the vote would create additional spending and a waste of time for each one, resulting in non-application and failure.

To avoid such problems and complications, LV representatives have agreed that the application for recorded registrations only for cases of conflicting according to procedures, when many applications with different surnames and the same number are sent from an email address. For implementation of the CEC decision, it must draft an Administrative Direction that regulates the detailed way of verification. It is expected to be approved today. This directive should exclude any possibility of voters leaving the voting list through a call. With that instruction, the CEC Secretariat must be directed to report to the CEC on all cases of inconsistencies that have been verified and the steps of verification undertaken. This administrative directive should be made public shortly after approval.

Our representatives have not voted for a moment to verify all of their fellow countrymen' applications, and much less to cancel them by a single call from the CEC. This is technically not possible and legally forbidden! But even though the greatest damage has been averted, which came through complications and restrictions that the use of personal addresses and envelope sharing brings, we still consider that even with this decision the right of our fellow countrymen to vote on. So, about the V Movement. YOU are now addressed PZAP's.

We remember that our representatives have sometimes raised the issue of online application of fellow countrymen as the easiest, safer and more efficient way to apply, but such a demand has been rejected and rejected by members of other subjects. It has happened in the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo where the same subjects have opposed the amendment of the Law for General Elections proposed by the LV, which will enable the vote of fellow countrymen at embassies and consulates of the Republic of Kosovo.

These political subjects who have consistently tried to make it difficult and unable to participate in decision-making in their homeland have been repeatedly opposed by the V Movement. I'm sorry. The report by the Mrgata Movement is clear. Relief of voting procedures for fellow countrymen and integrity of the chosen process are priorities of Movement V Our representatives in the CEC and our future government.
