Chairman of the United Trade Union of Education [ SBASK], Nundman Jasharaj has talked about Periscope's response to the Pristina Parents' Council, which is disappointed that the union is demanding strikes in education every year, but also about the demand for supplements of 100 euros for education workers. SBASK Chairman Nundman Jasharaj in a conversation about Periscope has said even Kosovo's educational system workers are affected by nearly as many health staffs.
Even teachers and other education workers are at risk, and the number is a huge number of affected people with COVID, and we've applauded when health, police and our request is to help the Government assist education, which is known to be quite affected”
“Why are strikes on the educational system not SBASKU, but are institutions that do not perform their commitments.”, he has said of Periscope.
As asked if students are hurt if every year the SBASKH plans strikes are organized, Jasharaj indicated to be damaged, but this has to do with their demands, which he considers to be reasonable.
“Yes, but parents need to be before teachers every day and see if their demands are real and reasonable, and the pressures toʹi do to institutions that all sectors should see, not to have privileged sectors, we know that health personnel are endangered by coronary, but the figures show that other sectors are not less affected. We're looking for something the Government has approached and recovery requires expense, and this has happened to the teachers who have been infected.”, Jasharaj said.
Meanwhile, the headship of the Council of Parents and Pristina has reacted to statements by the United Education and Culture Union, which have said could be delayed the start of the second half-year if no additional payments are paid.
The council through a post has said they disagree that an advance of one's rights is required at the expense of a group of society in this case of children./Periscopi/
